Emmanuel Baptist Church exists because Everybody needs Jesus!

Jay Hellums has been involved in Worship leadership since 1989. He has served churches in Pollock, Logansport, Baton Rouge, and the Lake Charles area. Jay earned music degrees from Louisiana College (Go, Wildcats!), New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and LSU. He has served at Emmanuel Baptist Church since April 2015.

Jay's favourite Scripture verse is II Tim 1:9...."[God] has called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His grace and purpose given in Christ Jesus from all eternity."
